Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society - Fargo
The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011. We are dedicated to creating and sustaining a botanic garden in the Fargo, ND area. Refer to This Page North Dakota.
The Society’s Board of Directors is made up of community members who are passionate about horticulture and share a common vision for a botanic garden in Fargo. Our goal is to engage the community in the beauty and value of plants, and to provide a space for people to enjoy the outdoors and learn about horticulture.
We are currently working on fundraising and developing plans for the garden. We are also working with the City of Fargo on a lease agreement for a site for the garden. We hope to break ground on the garden in spring of 2013.
Our goal is to provide a community gathering place that will showcase the beauty and diversity of the plant world, provide educational opportunities, and promote environmental stewardship. We would love to have you join us in our efforts to create a botanic garden in Fargo. Refer to the next article.
